- The Cancer Council Classic begins at 7pm local time Sunday.  (09:30 CET, 3:30am U.S. Eastern).  The distance is 51km.

- All riders will participate in Sunday's Cancer Council Classic but the Tour Down Under proper does not begin until Tuesday.  Sunday results do not count toward the final classification.

- Tour Down Under live race coverage will be limited to text tickers until Stage 6 when live streaming video will be available.  Video highlights will, however, be available each day.
