- The 2017 La Méditerranéenne race, scheduled for February 11-12, is cancelled due to a lack of availability of Garde Républicaine race security.  Note that France remains on high alert following the terrorist attacks in 2015 and 2016.

- 2016 will see the launch of the inaugural La Méditerranéenne, a stage race along the Mediterranean which replaces the old Tour of the Mediterranean (Tour Méditerranéen).  The 2016 edition is being held February 11-14 and will visit Spain, France and Italy.  More details to come...  Official site here.
