- Deceuninck-Quickstep roster for the 2019 Amstel Gold Race:

Julian Alaphilippe (FRA)
Rémi Cavagna (FRA)
Dries Devenyns (BEL)
Philippe Gilbert (BEL)
Mikkel Honoré (DEN)
Pieter Serry (BEL)
Petr Vakoc (CZE)
Sports Directors Klaas Lodewyck (BEL)
Geert Van Bondt (BEL)

- Geert Van Bondt (Quickstep directeur sportif): "We come here with two leaders – Julian, who tested his legs on Wednesday at Brabantse, and Philippe, who skipped the race to recover after Paris-Roubaix and feels good, so we can look to Amstel with confidence. Dries and Pieter have a deep knowledge of the parcours and will play an important role supporting our two guys, together with Rémi, Mikkel and Petr.  There won’t be too much wind on Sunday and the temperatures will be nice, and that will make for a very fast race, which means we have to stay focused at all times."

- News: Van Avermaet: Amstel Gold Race is my last chance to get a good result this spring. (Cyclingnews) - CCC Team leader hopes to improve on 5th place in 2015.

- Preview: Amstel Gold Race 2019 – Preview. (Cyclingnews) - 2019 race is wide open with former champions and up-and-coming stars.

- News: Impey leads Mitchelton-Scott hopes for Amstel Gold. (Cyclingnews) - 'The hard work is done and it's time to see how it all works out' says South African champion.

- News: Aldag: Valgren's talent hasn't just gone. (Cyclingnews) - Dimension Data prepare for crucial Ardennes campaign.

- News: Valverde back in action at Amstel Gold Race. (Cyclingnews) - Spaniard to lead Movistar line-up.

- UAE Team Emirates roster for Amstel Gold Race:

– Rui Costa (Por)
– Sergio Henao (Col)
– Manuele Mori (Ita)
– Simone Petilli (Ita)
– Tadej Pogańćar (Slo)
– Edward Ravasi (Ita)
– Diego Ulissi (Ita)

- Joxean Matxin (UAE Team Emirates): "We face the Ardennes triple with a formation that offers so many possibilities to be protagonists and to fight for important results: winning is very difficult because these three races are coveted and the competition is at a high level, but our team is well balanced and equipped well for our ambitions."

- Men's race defending champion Michael Valgren (now with Team Dimension Data) before the 2019 Amstel Gold Race: "It's true our team have a very strong lineup on paper for Amstel Gold Race, but then we don't race on paper on Sunday do we. You have to look at form and there are certainly many guys on rival teams that are really going well at the moment. We are fortunate to have a lot of experience in our team for this race, so we will need to use it all to get a good result for the team. This is such a hard race, but we will fight equally hard for a good result, as this is a big goal week for our team."

- Team Sunweb men's lineup for Amstel Gold Race:

Søren Kragh Andersen (DEN)
Johannes Fröhlinger (GER)
Marc Hirschi (SWI)
Lennard Kämna (GER)
Michael Matthews (AUS)
Nicholas Roche (IRL)
Louis Vervaeke (BEL)

- Aike Visbeek, Team Sunweb coach: "With our Keep Challenging Center in the region of Limburg, we are super motivated to get a good result close to home turf. We send a strong squad with a good mix of youth and experience. The race is often really aggressive with a lot of the action starting at the Kruisberg with 40 kilometres to go, so positioning onto that climb will be very important. The peloton will likely continue to split on the Eyserbosweg and Keutenberg and from there the race will be all about tactics. We ride in support of Michael who's in great shape with two stage wins and the points jersey in Catalunya and a solid result at his Flanders debut. We'll look to have other riders with him going into the final, to search for a good result after some bad luck here over the past few years."

- Team Sunweb Women roster for Amstel Gold Race:

Lucinda Brand (NED)
Janneke Ensing (NED)
Leah Kirchmann (CAN)
Liane Lippert (GER)
Floortje Mackaij (NED)
Coryn Rivera (USA)

- Hans Timmermans, Team Sunweb Women directeur sportif: "The parcours for Amstel Gold Race is very similar to the last edition and it is a race that can unfold in a lot of different scenarios. In 2018 it was the attack that went on the Keutenberg which made it to the line, with Lucinda coming second that day. Whereas, in 2017 the winning move went on the Bemelerberg with only 10 kilometres left. Therefore we need to be attentive at the front of the race at all times to ensure we are up there in all of the right moves. We arrive with a strong team that likes riding on this type of parcours and can adjust to different race situations as they unfold, which again gives us a good hand to play to search for a top result."

- Chantal Blaak (Boels Dolmans) won the women's 2018 Amstel Gold Race ahead of Lucinda Brand and Amanda Spratt.

- Michael Valgren (Astana Pro Team) won the men's 2018 Amstel Gold Race ahead of Roman Kreuziger and Enrico Gasparotto.  Peter Sagan was fourth.
