2009 Paris-Nice:  Alberto Contador (Astana) on his way to winning yesterday's Stage 1 Time Trial.  Contador won Paris-Nice in 2007 and since has won the Tours of France, Italy and Spain.

2009 Tour of California Prologue Photos Part 1


2009 Tour of California Prologue:  Lance Armstrong (Astana) on his way to a 10th place finish,
4 seconds behind stage winner Fabian Cancellara.  Armstrong's custom-made Livestrong bike was stolen
after the stage along with three other team bikes.  A reward is being offered for the return
of the one-of-a-kind bike.

2009 Tour of California pre-race bike photos


2009 Tour of California, pre-race:  We met Alejandro Torralbo, Cervelo's Master Tech, while he worked on Carlos Sastre's TT bike.  Torralbo, who hails from de Cordoba, Spain, has been turning wrenches for more than 30 years.  Though it was raining and in the mid-40's F he beamed with pride while fine-tuning Sastre's machine in anticipation of the Prologue.
