American podium girl back for
second Tour de France

Laura Antoine

- Laura Antoine, believed to be the only American podium girl in the history of the Tour de France, recently told me she has signed on again with Skoda to work the Tour next month.  The days are long but she is really looking forward to it.  Earlier this month, Laura worked at Roland Garros (the French Open tennis tournament) for the French tennis federation and will depart for Rotterdam at the end of the month for the 2010 Tour start.  Laura is from Saint Louis but is currently living in Paris and loving it.  Last January she enthusiastically told me she watched some of the Tour Down Under.  Great to hear.  -Pete
